Report: Liverpool to receive £75m cash from Barcelona for Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez jerseys are now on sale at Nike stores in Barcelona as the Uruguayan forward's transfer to the Catalan giants from Liverpool nears completion.
The BBC's Ben Smith reports Liverpool will receive £75 million in cash from Barcelona as part of Suarez's transfer. Smith also reports Liverpool have all but given up on their pursuit of Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez, who was rumored to be part of a swap plus money deal for Suarez.
Suarez is serving a four month ban from all football activities for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.

The 27-year-old recorded 82 goals in 133 appearances over three and a half seasons with Liverpool.
